Funeral Services for former Wewoka resident Nelda Jo (Moreland) Martin, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, November 10, 2008 at
Mission Home Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Delmer Hume
officiating and interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
Born August 25, 1939 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to James W. and Rena
(Hanning) Moreland. She graduated from Wewoka High School and
worked as a pre-school teacher in Sand Springs-Tulsa area. She has
lived in the Claremore for five years and Sandsprings for twenty years
She is preceded in death by her parents her husband Leonard and one son Tracy Allen Martin, one sister Jane Houser and one grandson, Robert Michael Hodge.

Survivors include:
5 daughters: Davanna Kay Tillman, Claremore, Oklahoma

Debbie Repp, Claremore , OK
Tammy Michelle Norman, Edgerton, KS
Kristy Gaye Goswick, Carthage, MO.
4 Sons: Rodney Jay Dee Martin, Holdenville, OK
Rondel Keith Martin, Sand Springs, OK
Kevin Alwayne Martin, Sand Springs, OK
Michael Leonard Martin, Ardmore, OK
Sisters: Marion (Sawyer) Cain, Lorene Romeno, Leta Drewery
Brothers:: James (Bud) Moreland and Jackie (Porkey) Moreland.
Life long friend, Patricia Peyton of Sand Springs.
Twenty-eight grandchildren and thirty-two great-grandchildren. A host
of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
